Mirror of Servers

To all domains saavy !

Many of my domains are hosted by Bluegravity.com. They are pretty good but sometimes i have some problem with my domains resolving which lead to traffic loss.

I understand to solve this problem, there is a possibility to mirror the normal servers Ns1 et Ns2 of the main hosting company with different servers Ns1 et Ns2 of a second hosting company.

Does someone know about this kind of problem and how to make sure the domain typed in the browser will effectively resolve and not show the error page/message "Page not available" Dns error.

As far as I know, its down to having a register that allows 2 pairs of dns, as a host must have a main dns and a backup. Meaning that host 1 has the first pair of dns, and a backup host has the 2nd.

Another free option is www.mydomain.com as a backkup set of nameservers, too.
