Ok, today I get this silly email from Epik.com:

Hi James,

We have a potential buyer for the domain name EUVirtual.com.

I suggest we list it here:

http://auctions.epik.com/

Can you tell me a reserve price for the domain?

Regards,
Rob

1) I thought the "Contact" that shows up on their landing page is suppose to go directly to the owner of the domain but apparently it is sent straight to Epik.
2) I think I can do my own negotiating. They don't even bother forwarding me the contact info of the potential buyer.
3) This seems like a base marketing ploy to promote their auction house.

This just really really pisses me off:upset:.

Why don´t you ask Rob directly ? I don´t use Epik but when I used the auction site a time ago he replied to all my questions immediately.

Rob is easy to work with. Give hiim a call or email. However I don't like the idea that they would withhold the buyers contact info. If that is the case it is a serious red flag. What has happened now since you posted?

Not a damn thing has happened. But that's ok, my portfolio is with a new provider that is working very well for me.
