Hi there,

Hope this is the best forum for this post.

We just launched a new redesign for NameOptions.com.

Would love to get your feedback and first impressions.

Best Regards,
Tom

Hi

a few observations:

at top of page in paragragh where the words are overlapping the background image... it says
"Name Options is a full-service boutique domain name aftermarket"

however, at the footer, it says "Name Options is a boutique domain name marketplace.

also, that search bar at the top is useless as is. it says, "search for your domain"
but if I search names you don't have, then what?

i'd remove that from top and bring the names up higher on the page, as that should be the focus
if you want to use a search bar, get one from adsense

the navigation icon on blue bar is hard to see because of blended in color

good luck!

Thanks for the feedback.

Aftermarket and marketplace are interchangeable synonyms. Do you think that is confusing?

The search bar actually is for keywords, not exact match domain. Maybe the wording should be changed to "Enter a keyword to begin your search" or similar.

well, in your case, I don't think either of them apply

at it's current state, it's more of a boutique domain name sales site

Do you think that if the site offers the capability/option for others to sell their domains as well, then it could rightly be called a marketplace?

I see your point. It's like a site listing real estate from multiple sources vs a real estate agent promoting just his own properties.
