.nets vs. .com's etc.

Obviously .com's are worth the most money. However, I've noticed that some .net's and .org's have yielded some nice money on Sedo and Afternic. My question is this..... say you take a simple 2 term.net that gets google results of 590,000 and then get an overture search term of 3181 hits.... what is the .net worth??? Also the 2 terms are not fairly specific.
