Neustar .US NEXUS Complaint

The low down of the situation is as follows:

About 10 days ago I received an email from Andrea at Neustar stating a .us domain I own had invalid whois for the C11 US Resident classification which it was under. This was true.

The domain had my UK whois information on it.

The reason for this was a bulk whois update somewhere along the line.

Now, I have an agreement/business partnership with an individual in the US such that he 'owns' our .us domains, and I simply get a cut of profits.

In response to Andrea, I apologized, stated this, and offered to update the whois to match this individuals data. As the domain is 'locked for review' I cannot simply do this through my moniker cpanel.

My most recent response stated:

Do you have official documentation that links the company name (The Gremlins
Umbrella Authority) to your business partner?

Please provide that to me for review.

For starters my company is not internationally registered, thus in answer to her question... no.
My relationship with this individual is a strictly 'honesty/integrity based business partnership'.

My question is what is the correct course of action here such that I can get Andrea off my back, update the whois such that it complies, and get on with things that need my attention.

Andrea is relentless, and will take away the name unless she gets what she's asking for. I had to deal with her a year ago regarding a name I purchased from a non-US entity. Even though I am a US citizen, and reside in the US, the whole process took over a month. I nearly lost the name, but was able provide all the proof she required, including pre-sale dialog between myself and the foreign seller.

I don't really have a suggestion for you, except just to tell you that she doesn't compromise and you may lose the name. Hope that's not the case though. Good luck.

As long as you target the US and have a page specifically for them, and advertise in dollars etc - it shouldn't matter I have a UK address only should it?

I also plan to forward my .us to an american section of my .com website -is this allowed?

To update on this. There was a long back and forth, and even a period where Andrea had no computer (oh the irony). It is however now sorted.
I do comply with nexus conditions, and as such I am allowed to keep my .us domains.

For other peoples information. The name on the whois is the name of the person who must be nexus compliant. If you have fake whois... and you put 'Zebedee Jones' as the owner, you must prove how THEY comply with documentation. Once an investigation is started the name is locked and you cannot change anything... so be careful/honest.
