We’ve rolled out a new feature on NameShift.com that gives domain sellers instant clarity over something that used to be annoyingly opaque: which domains in your account are actually connected to the NameShift system, and which are not.
From now on, every domain in your portfolio shows a simple status indicator. A green light means the nameservers are correctly connected to NameShift and the domain is fully active in the system. A red light means they are not connected.
That sounds trivial. It isn’t.
This instantly shows you which domains still need to be connected via the correct nameservers, so you can activate them without guessing or double-checking externally. No more wondering why a domain isn’t performing or why a landing page isn’t loading correctly.
It also solves a second, more subtle problem. Many sellers have legacy domains in their account that they no longer own. Previously, those could quietly sit there and clutter your portfolio. With the new red indicator, those domains stand out immediately. If a domain is no longer yours and no longer connected, you can remove it from your account with confidence.
The result is a cleaner portfolio, fewer mistakes, and faster action. You see what’s live, what isn’t, and what doesn’t belong anymore. Simple logic. Exactly how portfolio management should work.
