are all registers, or just some, not doing transfers in the first 60 days after you acquire a name??

Should probably add to auction rules, or is it just register.com that has 60 day rule.

No transfers between registrars are allowed in the first 60 days of a domain's creation, so it's not just Register.com.

In most cases, REGISTRAR transfers are not permitted within the first 60 days, however, REGISTRANT transfers can take place. If you have 10-12 months left, you have plenty of time to transfer to another registrar after getting domain ownership.

A registrar change has nothing to do with an ownership change, and will in no way affect the auction :)
