I received this note along with the check in the mail for an Escrow.com sale:

DEAR CUSTOMER:

PLEASE TENDER THIS CHECK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER
TO AVOID DELAYS REGARDING OUR ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES.

DANA WATHEN, ESCROW MANAGER (phone ...)

I am obviously cashing the check on Monday but what exactly are they doing? :huh:
