The names of the three mascots for the winter olympics in Vancouver were released today, so naturally I checked for the domains out of curiousity.
Surprisingly (and very risky), it looks like two of the mascots domains were only regged today in .ca by the olympic committee, Miga.ca and Quatchi.ca. Sumi.ca, the third mascot, was regged a few years ago and looks to be someone's name. I wonder if they have made an offer on that name?
The olympic committee also got Quatchi.com, but alas Sumi.com and Miga.com are LLLL.com's that were probably regged long ago. Wonder what kind of traffic the .com's will get if the .ca's get advertised.
