"on" domains (the ON prefix)

So what is everyone's take on the "on" prefix? i.e. onclassifieds.com or onjobsearch.com (which is available to register).

On = Online = Valuable?

I don't think most people would associate "on" with "online", but I do know that there are websites in Ontario (Canada) using ON (the official province abbreviation) as their prefix.

onboard.com

not many others...

i never have any idea that onclassifieds = online classifieds.

so i feel that 'on' prefix have not much value.

You get "On" a Web Cam. Girls.OnWebCam.com Guys.OnWebCam.com People.Get.OnWebCam.com How does the Candid Camera saying go? Smile you're "on" Candid Camera.

Maybe he means sitting on top of a webcam :huh: as in
people.on(top of)webcam.com :shy: :laugh:

It means exactly as it sounds. When you're on cam whether it be web cam or in film you're on cam. When you say you saw something On TV did you mean you saw it sitting On the TV? I watch People "On" Web Cam all the time (Yes I'm a voyeur :wink And I get On my web cam just as much. Just like I'm watching a show On TV as I'm typing this.
