1. So if ParisHiltonSexTape.com sold for $2,100 on Sedo auction, do you guys think it was worth it or more possibly?

1. I'm sure that name had a lot of traffic during the Paris Hilton sextape hype a couple of years ago. If it has traffic still, then it's probably worth the $2k. More? It all depends on the traffic. The name is rather worthless without traffic.

That was more or less my thought process prior to writing this thread, but after further research I found out it hardly gets any traffic. Tops 20+/- visitors a day. Most days almost nothing.

That's why I did this thread, my domain gets around 10+/- visits a day, so not that far off from the one ParisHiltonSexTape.com.

I don't know if you have any porn domains parked but the PPC revenue is horrible, maybe $0.03 - $0.18 per click.

So for me personally $2G's for ParisHiltonSexTape.com doesn't add up, but apparently it does for some people out there. Which is why I created this thread. I wanted to promote dialogue and conversation. Maybe everyone else see's something I don't?

The sex tape was huge for those in adult a few years ago. I kicked myself many times for passing over such opportunities when i had them thinking no one would care about some nobody rich girl but i was wrong. people made a lot of money from it... a lot. its pretty much dead now i'd but i'd say 2k would be worth it to the guys who own the rights to the sex tape.
