pointless but amusing

Hey...this happened over here in the UK a couple of years back...

At a railway station, there were lots of vandals and damn kids causing trouble, and they installed these loudspeakers (high up enough so the kids couldn't break them) which played classical music.

The problem went away almost overnight......

Same thing happened when I lived in California. There is a place called Vallejo in north of Bay area, where low-income people lives since the rents are low. Vallejo Metropolitan Transportation Authority or Vallejo something started to play classical music in bus stops to cool down people and prevent them shoot each other.
 
That's awesome! I sure as hell would have hung around with jazz music blaring when I was a teenager (or even now for that matter).
