Popular/Valuable letters?

I was wondering which letters where best for acronyms, (3 and 4 letter domains)?

I have heard that J, Q, X, Y and Z are not very popular/valuable, so I was wondering which other letters should be avoided, and which are the most popular/valuable to have?

Any thoughts or info is greatly appresiated...

Have you ever watched the TV game show "Wheel of Fortune" ? The final question at the end of the show, the contestant is allowed to select 5 letters to reveal clues to the mystery phrase. They almost always select the same ones...

I think that selection would apply to (english) domain names.
