I'm the wrong guy to ask. Never liked domains with hyphens never will, even though I got a couple of them myself. I just don't believe that they should be a lot better just because of SEO. Some of my domains/sites manage to get top 10 rankings for some strong keywords in most major search engines without having any of the keyowords in the domain itself. So, it proves it does not necessarily has to do with the domain itself. Hyphenated domains might work for you as well as others, but my belief is that it takes a lot more than a domain to get good rankings for some keywords in SEs. Although, it might help a bit.
