I waited 2 weeks with trying to find a solution with register.com before getting to theis point were I am posting here.

in 2001 I regged many .infos.

The vast majority I transfered out.
1 domain in particular I forgot there.
it was during the time If anyone remembers that register was partnering with betterwhois to knock off $10 for each reg.
anyhow, the domain is still regged in MY name. I cant login through
http://betterwhois.register.com
but this link is dead.
the domain which is important to me shows register.com as the registrar (and they were/are).

Sponsoring Registrar:Register.com (R140-LRMS)
Status:OK

after many emails, the best reply I got was that they will attempt to send me the authorization keys so I can transfer out.
10 days later, nothing even though I repeatedly email them.
I cant even log on, not to mention that I doubt the username/password works, as they said they changed systems 2 years ago and no longer partner with betterwhois who were just a referal not an affiliate at the time.
so what to do?
I need both authorization keys, and I need to unlock the domain.
I checked whois 100 times, and sent them copies. They acknowledge the domain is regged with them, but they cant seem to find it!!!!

I would really appreciate if anyone can give me some tips in rescuing the domain.

Thanks.

What is the domain name? Did you try calling them?

I tried calling once, but was put on hold for too long, and calling from a land phone in Athens to the US isnt too cheap if its going to be a waiting game for who knows how long.

resolved after almost 1 month!!!!
