After selling a domain name to a buyer in the sefcondary market....

1. What are the options to handle the trasaction ? ( money transfer, I mean )
2. which is the best option ??
3. If you have burnt your fingers using a particular method...??..I'd be interested to listen !
4. Any documents to be taken care of, from both the buyer and seller point of view ??

1. escrow, paypal, cheque, money transfer
2. paypal is pretty standard amongst traders
3. fortnuately i havent been stung
4. depends on register - ive transferred from godaddy and registerfly and transfer is free - i sold my site which was registered with a UK host where i had to write a letter confirming the transaction and so did they

In case of escrow, whom do sellers generally go with ?? or does the buyer chooses the escrow service...?? And also, who bear the escrow service charge ...Seller or buyer ??
