Sending free fax from the web: is this really possible ?

I know there're some sites which offer such service but you can send faxes only towards few specific areas ... Is there someone who offers this service with worldwide coverage ?
A small ad. would be acceptable ... but we need to know if we can get this service for free, thanks.
