I thought if you had the name locked that all transfer requests were denied?

Today I received a transfer request from NS for a domain I have with godaddy. (snorkelstuff.com)

It even tells me the name of the person who requested it.

The same prick just requested it to be transferred again!

I had over 50 requests for a name from open srs once. Why the guy never contacted me to buy it I'll never understand. I think a lot of times it's just a punk with a pc.

I had this problem earlier this year. Someone continously tried to transfer a particular domain.

Eventually, the person contacted me. He informed me that he was the original owner and it had expired. He wanted to buy the name for $ 25. (It was his registrars fault that he lost it?)

After months of communication he bought it for $ 500. And, he was not happy about it.

I think he considered me a vulture. (A person of a rapacious, predatory, or profiteering nature.)

You are an educator. He won't make that mistake again.

lol

Darn people who let their names expire then demand and expect the new owners to give it back to them for minimal cost are slightly annoying ;)

I like the educator bit - lmao

Hehehe... he's at it again! (Ok, I'll shutup now) :-D

Does Godaddy always prompt whenever someone attempts a transfer even if you have registrar-lock on, cy? Doesn't it just bounce back and say "TRANSFER REFUSED" without alerting you?

Not getting anything from GoDaddy Mole.. the registrar (NS) they are wanting to transfer to are the ones sending me emails.

I just checked with WhoWas & it is the previous owner who is requesting it AKA Commerceville, LLC.

He hasn't contacted me as yet... but did request a transfer again lol
