Is it me or has everyone been bombarded with spam in the past 24 hours (more then the usual)..

I am getting so many emails with attachments, taking up my entire mail box!! I just cancelled the email forwarding function on many of my problem domains.

Thats exactly what I am seeing wyvern! This thing is hitting me hard! Over 500 emails a day taking up all my mail space. We changed our email redirection until this thing settles down.

That's not so bad. I've twice had spammers spoof one of my domain names in their header and mail to random emails. One time I had 17,000 plus bounce messages, the next time I had over 12,000 before deactivating the domain. both times I had to have the host delete them direct from the server since it would take me several hours just to download them.

I am getting a lot of emails with the worm this past week. But, the worst thing is , a couple times a year someone spoofs my primary email address. And, I get the bounce back that fills my email box.

Plus, I get a couple nasty emails from people telling me they are going to sue me or report me, etc. because I am sending them spam! And, being a nice guy, I alway respond to them explaining that I did not send them the email and I am an innocent victum.

Create a new rule which puts anything with the following subjects
Subject:
• Re: Details
• Re: Approved
• Re: Re: My details
• Re: Thank you!
• Re: That movie
• Re: Wicked screensaver
• Re: Your application
• Thank you!
• Your details
Into "deleted items" :) This works great for me!
