This is first time I appreciate SPAMMER!

It notified me of available domain.
Email said they registered .com version of
the domain I have in .org

I know they didn't register it from previous similar emails.
So, I registered it myself immediately :D

Here is SPAM email I am talking about...
I removed any domain or link to SPAMMER.
No reason to send them any kind of traffic ;)

Our company specializes in acquiring expired domain names
to help individuals and businesses protect their brand online.

The domain name xxxxxx.COM expired recently and we were able to secure it.

We noticed the you own xxxxxx.ORG and felt that you may be
interested in acquiring the .COM version of your existing domain name.

It is available for a one-time fee of only $99.00 USD.

Sell it back to them for $199 hehehe

Yep, I have used those spam e-mails to aquire .com versions of my domains too. Good to see others putting them to good use also. :ok:

I also get those all the time.

And I too have regged perhaps three over the years in a .com at reg fee.

These idiots have no idea how much I appreciate them letting me know that the .com dropped.

I get these emails as well, but its often for the .net, or .org. I havn't got as lucky as you. Nicely done!

Yeah once or twice I regged .com too and thanks them back.
As well as the other spammer who sends this for dropping domains, I also thanked him for reminding me and that I just backordered it on Namejet.

LOL
And I thought I am the only one :)

you still sent the $99.00 USD right? LOL

oh, yeah, that SPAM should be called "white SPAM " or something, I bought at least 2 domains at reg fee because of them :))

it happened to me too, at least 3 times

(but they wanted $199, not $99)

I get lots of them email i think the spammer might sell 1 in ever 2000 emails so its ok. what would be funny is the spammed you a name you dont really want and say yes ill take it he regs it and then say no its ok keep it spammer ha ha.

I've gotten a few also from spammers like this, offering to "sell" me a domain that is available to register for $100-$500. I've gotten two .com domains this way so far. :)

I think its good because evers name you get spammed is free to register i really good one could pop up one day .
