Juniper and to all you who didnt want to get in the mess that had me banned for a few days but who stil supported our position.
I really appreciate the support from you guys that understood the issue (whther you agreed or not) and that understand that sometimes we reach a venting point and go over the top in making our point.
That it is an exception for me ..not a rule. As Mod I also understod and always gave people the benefit of the doubt when people had outburst that were not their normal behavior. I always tried to get people to walk away for the night or move onto another discussion when they got to heated so I wouldnt have to give warnings.. I always felt a a PM message to the individual to let them know it was time to back off an issue was much better than just dishing out warnings.
I had an Admin re-open a thread I closed because I knew it was going to get out of hand ..(in the end the same Admin had to close the thread because it got out of hand.) Ironic hey
I was furious that I was not given the same respect that I gave our members on a full time basis..a simple PM from Admin that they were over-riding my decision is all I needed.

I am a long standing member of DNF and I have seen a lot of people join.. As mod my main objective was to keep a clean forum ..my pet project was working on helping to create the Adult section and to keep all Adult into the Adult area.
As many of you ..you want to show your friends and family the world of domains ..and you dont want all the porn hitting your family in the face as they enter DNF.. It's amazing how people will fight common sense or careless about your family !
So that was my main battle ..we're not prudes..Adult names are fine just that they need to be in thier own area.
I tried to be fair because I know were all are idiots a few times out of the year
(even when we are right) If your dishing out the same crude everyday then it's a different story
I'm no longer Moderating and thats fine ..I did for over a year and enjoyed working with Adam and crew.
I'll have more time now to concentrate on developing my own sites.
