This one's probably a typo. I typed tienanmen in google, and it asked me if I meant tiananmen

it's always the problem with the transcription from non-Latin alphabets

so i don't exactly about the chinese, it may be a similar case

So yes, a typo isn't necesserily a typo, depending on who uses it. Like macao/macau

But in terms of Chinese these days, most of the time, you should go with the standard pinyin spelling.
