Hi,
Is type-in traffic decsreasing or increasing in generall over the years ?

And - 2nd question - are people who type-in their browsers adresses like travelagency.com, musicnews.com or amateursex.com :-) new to the internet or are they experienced surfers ?

Some are bored, and some are fed up with being stuffed by paid position and inaccurate search engines. Others are just trying to remember that interesting site they found last week.

Mine none-English ones are increasing nicely, %15 yearly min.

2 - Many reasons, mine is curiosity mostly :)

My English type-ins are doing very well. Newbies type an URL into search engines, whereas the browser type-ins seem to be folks who are curious to see whether the product or information they're searching for, actually resides at the generic URL.
