unblogging the blog?

is it possible to use one of those commercial blog services (blog, blogger, typepad...) but to keep it branded under my own domain name as opposed to sub-domained to theirs? (for example, the blog url shows mydomain.ext instead of mydomain.blog.com)

if so, does anyone care 2 link here any such examples?
