Vacations to Las Vegas in December

I'm planning to go to Las Vegas in December for vacations for my 15th wedding anniversary.
Is it a good idea?
I mean, isn't it too cold, is it?
Is there snow in December there?

Any alternative suggestion...?

Go to Cancun...Desire Resort.

cold at night but during the day it should be pleasant weather. My wife and I had good time there, spent a load of cash but a heck of a good time.

Well, funningly I'm in Mexico, so Cancun is a cheap option.... and no language problem...
But I've been in other beaches and we really want to go to the states.... but it is so freeze any where in December...
