Verio.net:Need help

I need your advice/help concerning a name that is registered at Verio.net.
I bought this name 8 weeks ago from a german, it is a precious highpotential- oneword.com.
The transfer failed because the contact-email-address of the owner is wrong/doesn´t exist any more.
Verio also sended the login-informations regarding this name to this wrong email.
Any hint or tip for this case would be appreciated very much.

You will most likely end up having to contact the previous owner again. He will have to fax paperwork to prove he is/was the owner of the domain and get the email addy changed to yours so you can request a transfer.

Heh , they make no claim to being speedy or efficient Giv'em a bit of time they'll probably get around to it. You can also call support and maybe get someone to directly fax it to. Just be sure he changes the email to yours.
