Don't know if anyone has seen this site before or not, but thought it was very well done, and very sophisticated to get around the sweepstake rules. Basically it works like this ...

-people post items for sale and set a reserve # of tickets to be sold
-people bid on those items with tickets they get for buying sponsors coupons
-the winner is randomly drawn when enough tickets are sold (seller gets more than what product might be worth - winner might get it very cheap)

so essentially one could win a $1,000, a $10,000 car or $500,000 house with 1 ticket (chances would be very low) but thats the gist of their marketing/program.

They say why bid $31,000 for this car on ebay when you could win it for $31 on PriseWise.

The site is PrizeWise.com

thought it was a cool site and could become the next ebay! and thought some of you might appreciate too.

Doesnt sound like its getting around anything sweepstakes wise, sounds like a lottery.
