Traffic can be manipulated very easily. I never give any consideration to traffic claims when buying domains. Its better to build it up yourself through search engine inclusions, Adwords, wom, etc.

One thing I noticed about pretty much everything he sold is it always came
back to the forum and circulated again. The new owners would try to sell it
and the process would continue again and again. Reasons? The traffic wasn't as promised
and/or the domains were pretty much useless. He knew it when he first sold
them, but he didn't really care too much as long as someone buys.

That's no good, because it means that he is selling crap. This forum doesn't
need crap that comes back to the sales section every other day.

To keep his name clean he kept on changing it, just like any other scammer..
From Traffik to Vseco or whatever now to E=MC2 and I'm sure he had plenty more before that.

Wise decision on the ban.

i got burned a few years back on a 'traffic' domain - where exactly the same thing happened (lost $ 1100 - money was return to trafficavenue escow , but TA stiffed me) since then i have not bought any traffic promising domain , but i would love to...

Question : would it be possible to have members rated or certified ( i am talking about traffic domain sellers) ?

The trader hack is a pretty good ebayesque rating system.
Can be found at vbulletin.org.
I have it at ffx2.com but it really isnt used there. Looks like it would work greath though.
