There are actually multiple developments at Domainate you should all be aware of:

1. Our Domainate Facebook Fan Page and Domainate Twitter accounts have been live for the past week or so. Our focus on those accounts besides posting/tweeting our special domain sales and new blog posts has been to tweet various domain news items that hit mainstream media. We also post/tweet some mainstream news items in related fields that can affect domains as well as helpful articles for online businesses.

These extra things are things we do NOT post to our site or mail out to our newsletter subscribers as of yet. I admit that I hadn't paid enough attention to a number of valuable news sources prior to a few weeks ago and I feel like these news items we've been posting are vital to understanding what end-users see pertaining to domains and online business - very important to anyone wanting to make end-user sales.

2. We just put up a new blog post, What To Do With Your Domain Name When You Rebrand. May not be pertinent to many of you, but it actually is to us right now as we are splitting our Domainate brand at the moment, and again this is something many businesses and entrepreneurs face.

We have had a hand in rebranding many entities, from an ad agency to a notorious billion dollar corporation and as more and more hot startups have been using quality domains lately (Mint.com, Path.com, Color.com, etc.), we may see a lot more older companies turn to rebranding to keep up.

Feel free to read and comment on it!

3. As mentioned, we are splitting our brand - we will soon be launching a new site on Doma.in geared towards the domainer crowd and Domainate will shift focus to more of the mainstream crowd.

Our primary goal has always been to be a gateway between the two worlds and do our part to educate mainstream on the importance of quality domain names and guide them through the process of buying them and starting off on a strong foot (or rebranding and revitalizing their existing mediocre brand). The process is two fold - aiding mainstream and also building the domain industry up more, so Doma.in will involve training for domainers to achieve success (something we've already started to do at Domainate through our Group Mastermind program) and avoid costly mistakes as well as providing quality names at lower-than-wholesale prices to infuse and grow our industry.

So look out for Doma.in to hit soon! :)

In short, follow our Domainate Facebook and Twitter (links at the top), check out our newest blog post and look out in the near future for Doma.in!
