Hi
Please excuse my ignorance
What are snapbacks?
I looked up snapbacks.com but it is a horse traing aid
I doubt Luigi in the related offers forum wants to train a horse

Welcome again, newbie. I guess there should really be a newbie forum where novice can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or silly.

Yes there should be a newbie forum. Every new registrant should be forced to go there. The first and only message they should see could be something like this:

"Hello, and welcome to the DNforum. Hopefully you havn't purchased any domain names yet. If you have, that's ok too. At least some fortunate twist of fate has brought you here. Now follow these instructions clearly, completely and as quickly as you can:

Read list completely before acting upon.

1) Turn off computer.
2)Run...run far away.
3)Repeat steps 1&2 if the urge to enter this pit of dispair, known as domain speculation, ever hits you again.

j/k

cheers

edit: I guess this might help answer your original question:www.snapnames.com

LOL - that's VERY funny. :)

Jeez, I wish I'd seen something like that when I got into this.

Thanks for the chuckle

LOL - oh aint that the truth.

I remember my only "drunk registration" - of course I didn't renew it and WHY I thought it was good at the time, I'll never know (this was my early domain days thankfully):

donthaveacowman.com

Oh jeeeeez - I cringe when I type it and solely blame the red wine.

:)

As I said, it was a while ago - I don't remember what it was now but I would know it if I drank it again because I'm sure I'd be trying to register something like "thewinemademedoit.com".

;)

Oh geez, I'll put you out of your misery even if these other loons won't :D Welcome to the asylum btw.

SnapBack® is a registered trademark of SnapNames. They have arrangements with 15 (and counting) ICANN accredited registrars to attempt registration of names when they drop. You can pay to have them attempt registration of a name that you're interested in, and they call that service a "SnapBack®".

Best wishes,
Simon.
