Just went through the entire 25 page long thread of the stolen names - Pornos dot com, **** dot net, etc.

Makes me worry about my own domains.

I realize that the primary method of stealing names is to break into an email address.

I currently use a free gmail account for my names.

I also have a paid email account at GoDaddy on my own domain
And I have another account on my own domain using the gmail platform.

So which one of these would be the safest? I obviously like the gmail interface a lot more than the GoDaddy one.

Any ideas?

Also, what other steps can I take to ensure some safety for my names? I move most of my names to Moniker as they come up for renewal. Is that enough?

Thx for this article Theo. I wasn't actually aware of this, that wireless connection can be that dangerous.

sign up at hushmail.com , its unbreakable thus far. , cause if ur account doesnt ban IP on bruteforce, sooner or later it will compromised. the gmail / free web mail were hacked by providing a link/click which were intrusive and giving commands while ppl were logged in.

Most of the time, ppl lost stuff, cause they gave it away themselves.
