why states that allow early voting is a good idea

ther are a lot of scenerios where a tight election could go the other way because voting only takes place in a day
Mt st helens erupts a lot of rural people would stay home ash damages your engines, while city voters could easily get to voting booths. Washington oregon usually go democratic but this could throw a wrench in.Not sure if both states have early voting or not

maybe a terrorist action on election day most likely to take place in a city where most citeis go democratic, giving the election to republicans, in that state. NJ 50-50 right now

lots of scenerios, like when florida was called for gore before polls closed in western part of the state (many republicans stayed home after that)

it also gives poll workers more time to check out felon voters and people who for some reason or another registration is screwed up, so hats off to states that now allow early voting

Yeah, i'm in Seattle, but it seems lots of people are seeing different things about John Kerry, I dont how Washington will go, but they do usually go democratic.

They have early voting here in Florida and it is a great thing as our Seniors move a little slow - so if they head out now, then might make it by Election Day - Plus since they can not count votes well here, it gives them extra time to get a few more toes and fingers to help.
