First time looking for a valuation. Would it be best to offer this name alone or in a package with a couple other domains like trucking.info and automobiles.us that were originally acquired for a planned website?

Best to sell by itself. The .US domains were pretty hot on AN for awhile. It has calmed down a bit since this extension first came on line. Strong keyword that should be able to pull in at least $1k.

BTW. What do you think of Machinists.US

Thanks,
DD

Welcome stocdoctor:)

To gain a competitive advantage in today's overexploited domain game, it is often desirable to get sets as they help echo the value of a name.

It puts you apart from the pack.

Nonetheless, trucks.us, singularly, is an awesome name for the right American company.

Welcome!

Very good name. I do not know as much about the .us market or car domain markets as Domaindirk and Mole, but for my two cents I would think it would be valuable to sell by itself... particularly if there are different customer bases for trucks and cars (autos in general)?

Yup, now that the airports are checking your shoes, best thing is to use the highways just in case you stepped on turd with razor blades:D

I hope DomainDirk is right. BUt I am concerned about the apathy regarding the .us TLD

Are you guys seeing a followthrough in interest, I mean from buyer and large companies with money to spend on domain names? To me it seems like the .US launch was a victim of the market downturn -I may be wrong though

Trucks.us is a great name that will collect the BIG $$$ in a near future if you decide to sell it. I would however suggest a partnership for the domain. Then you are practically guaranteed an steady income for as long as you want.

Good luck!
