I think we all vary our sales prices depending on how we feel at the time or whether the need for funds is great or not. It's nice to have prices in old sales threads deleted.

Seconded . I also think that it would be good not to allow search engines to
index those links. Clearly some end users are savvy enough to search the
web before approaching and will be put off if you try and charge them
10 x the price on DNforum.

Dear Adam, your site adamdicker.com publishes the dn sales threads on your site. Unfortunately, it does not edit the threads when we close them or hide the prices. Recently, several domainers and end users have pointed to your site adamdicker.com and pointed out that I have listed A Domain for less !

My asking price for recent domain was $100 to an end user, and he pointed to adamdicker.com which has published a thread i closed a while ago and edited out the price. I price my domains to domainers different then i do with end users. I always edit the domains and close the thread if the domain fails to sell on dn. But now with you publishing our threads on your site adamdicker.com, we dont have control! This is causing a huge negative impact on my sales.

Can you please delete our sales threads from adamdicker.com and not publish our sales threads?

I appreciate you taking the time to read this thread, if you can't help us out. I can no longer post my domains in the sales thread on dn. As it has a negative impact on my strategy and sales pitch

look forward to your response.

Best wishes,
MIR

I made a comment about this when I first found out about the site quite some time ago. I never received a response. At the very least, sales threads should not be posted on there.

The real, real, problem is that a website in a form of a forum is not a good idea to sell domains..... seems like we need another kind of software that have all the flexibility we need.

Yes, especially when putting domain name in thread title becomes a requirement.

I agree totally...get rid of of AdamDicker.com (at least change it do it is not a copy) but keep Adam Dicker ;-) I have voiced this in the past but have had no response as well.

I'm adding my vote as well. It does a great disservice to this community.

i am.... in whichever spot in the cue, in total agreement with the op's request! and I also agree that the double-whammy of HAVING to post name in title AND having it posted elsewhere out of my control is less than ideal. odd that this has been brought up before without response. sp

This is the big issue.
Can we edit the title out after sales thread close?

That won't matter because it wont be changed on adamdicker.com. Once you post your sale it shows up on the other site once it updates.

for this same reason I will never, ever, ever post a domain for sale on digital point forum. you're prohibited from editing posts there.
