Important:
Please note that this is a transaction involving a .in domain. Domains with this ccTLD cannot be transferred within the first 60 days of the registration period. The first registrations for .in domains were carried out on the 16th February 2005.
:-(
The above is what it says on the "Make Offer' page for each of my .IN and .CO.IN domain names* (in bold red type, like above) that I put up for sale on Sedo yesterday. Such wording will put any potential buyer off very easily! I know domains that haven't been reg'd for 60 days yet can't be transfered out for 60 days (and that rule goes for most (all??) TLDs), but they can be pushed to another account (of the buyer) within the registrar!
So Sedo (please respond), I guess I now have to post a message to potential buyers in the page's 'DESCRIPTION' section where I inform that that indeed, they can't be transfered out but that they CAN be 'pushed'? Not very convenient.
And question #2 to Sedo:
How long will that "cannot be transferred within the first 60 days" message stay there on the domains' 'Make Offer' pages? Does it take into account the actual registration dates of the domains in question and thus automatically disappear after 60 days, or?
