many asked me questions related to domain, and I received few private offers. $1500 is the highest though. Some of you asked me why this domain name posted here and not in the website section.
Yes, thats true, the domain has a script loaded on it, and it can be considered a site. I didn;t have time to spend on development/redevelopment of the domain/site, but the new owner is going to get a lot more than a domain alone. Here is some more info:

3. Email users

The site has 7406 registered users, the buyer of the domain name
will get access to the Everyone.net control panel where all the
email is hosted. I don;t see any reason for you to discontinue the
email service, because it attracts visitors to the site every single
day, but in case you decide to discontinue email services you will
have to notify people ahead of time about this.

This is a very very rare opportunity to get a domain registered in 1996

here are few more more questions answered :

I bought the site when it run email service for about 5 years already. It only had the main page with a login screen, and all the email services were hosted with everyone.net.

You can negotiate with everyone.net to sell you the whole db and move all email services somewhere else, or you can pay them a fee per user to show/
control 100% of all the ads shown inside the email system.

Well, I have traffic stats from Everyone.net 0 it is more than 16 thousand visits a month approx. I have stats for last few years from them. I can't tell you though how many users generated these stats. It can be 1/3 , 1/2 or more. I would guess that at least half of the members are active. Most of the users from UK and US.

Hoghest bid right now is 3k on dnforum. I end the auction when the first
person offers 5,5k for it.

Please note that if you don't want to keep this email service this is no problem with me, but you have to promise me that you will notify people
ahead of time that you discontinuing the service, won't be nice if we pull the plug without letting users know. BTW you can email all the users offers, announcements etc, another way to increase revenue by selling this as a service to people that want to advertise in the newsletter.

Few more clarifications and explanations:

1. Yes, there are 7400 members using email at North.org
Even though this email service is hosted at Everyone.net
it is YOUR members. All these people have @north.org at the
end of their email. That's why it is important to notify
them before you discontinue the service, but again I don't
see any reason to discontinue it.

2. Please ignore my last statement about the site having 16
thousand visits a month. You will see from the stats that
I have from everyone.net that there are 10 thousand of "something"
a day! I have no idea how they are counting these - as hits/visits/
or visitors. They say in the site that these are requests, so it
is probably hits or visits, not visitors I guess.
