Ok, here's the thing: I wanted to basically use this network of dating sites (117 sites) to boost one or two important projects in the SERPs and, aside from that, I wanted to also make some monies by monetizing each website via 3 dating offers (SinglesNet, Naughty or Nice and Spicy or Sweet).

Here's what I did last year:

1) I regged 117 exact match domains with a twist: on the one hand, they're exact match domains which describe a term with fairly low search volume (for example "personals Phoenix", the complete list can be found below) and on the other hand, the kw2 + kw1 term (for example "Phoenix personals") has considerably more search volume. PersonalsPhoenix.com is one of the domains I own, the complete list can be found at the end of this post.

Ranking for the kw1 + kw2 term (for example "personals Phoenix") will be a piece of cake because:

* you own the exact match dot com domain
* the term is not all that competitive

If you manage to rank for that term, you'll be able to easily make enough to cover the registration fees of like 8-10 domains. Now ranking for the kw2 + kw1 term (for example "Phoenix personals") will be a bit harder because:

* you don't own the exact match dot com (in other words, you don't own PhoenixPersonals.com) but you own the next best thing (PersonalsPhoenix.com)
* the term is more competitive than the kw1 + kw2 one

2) I contacted a friend of mine (Xdreamer, his designs kick MAJOR ass btw ) and asked him to design a review-style lander for me. Since I wanted to use that template for all sites, I came up with a different/original (I never came across similar landers but am pretty sure that other people are doing this - it's not like I invented teh Interwebz but still...) approach in order to avoid duplicate content penalties:

The lander itself is made of 4 images (no text whatsoever, just 4 images: the logo and 3 images, one for each dating site I wanted to push), that's it

The articles will appear below the 4 images (after all, I wanted visitors to see the lander and search engines to "see" the text part of each site), here's an example:

Oh and one more thing, he also designed a custom WP theme for me based on that template. Here's an example:

3) I started working on some articles. Each article has the follwing format:

* title
* meta description
* copy (400+ words)

I have 52 articles atm and as far as the other 65 are concerned, you can either write 'em yourself or hire me to do it for ya
