Don't you miss the old days sometimes ?
You know, when the Internet was still the Wild West, you could post your E-mail publicly on the WWW without bothering about spammers and stalkers
You could still register nice generic domains in .com and you found it perfectly normal that they were still available :cheesy:

Actually, back then you could post your name, address, and phone number on a public forum and the only people who would note it were the people it was intended for.

People were a lot more open and honest back then. It was extremely safe. Even if a child posted relationship advice, people helped them, and they didn't have to worry about people taking advantage of them.

I spent so much time on IRC and Newsgroups that paid no attention to WWW. In fact, the web was so small that I was writing a monthly "golden" guide to the Internet for a computer magazine. It had links and reviews about new web sites. I spent probably that much time on the WWW, just to research and nothing more. Of course, having a dial-up connection at 14.4kbps required a lot of patience

I used mail first, then Pine, then Eudora (ever since!) I just never liked Outlook.
