3 letter .com valuation

As I was scanning the Sedo auction page today, one jumped out at me.

I happened to notice a 3 letter .com in auction on Sedo.
$ 3,200. - 4 days to go.
Normally, the bid price (with 4 days to go) would have been slightly higher.

Ironically, it was offered on DNF 2.5 yrs ago with a starting bid of $ 5K.

Have 3 letter .com domains fallen out of favor?

Or, is it because today is monday and there are less bidders over the weekend?

I would focus on the final prices...not prices during the auction and try to make statements. Does it really matter what it is 4 days before it closes?

Thank you for the suggestion. I was not sure about all of this bidding stuff.

And, I'm not sure my observation was correct or not.
In 4 days, it went from $ 3,200 to $ 4,000.
