Damn, I made a newbie mistake. I signed up for the new Godaddy's Domain Name Aftermarket program only to see that it is the most stupid thing ever invented my human mankind.. you pay for the domain, and then have to wait 60 days and pray that the previous owner doesn't renew it.

Of course, I just did a search here and found a large thread about it... damn, 5 bucks down the drain, I would never use that absurd system and let Godaddy play around with my money for 2 months without receiving nothing in return.

Couldn't care less about the 5 bucks, but I feel like kicking myself for being so dumb and siging up for such a stupid program

5 bucks ey, i'm surprised they didn't put in a few pre-orders of webhosting and merchant services while they were there, you know so you can reserve it if you need to use them in the future :-D

Well, for only $0.19 more you could have reg'd a new .COM name with them, which would have been better spent (well, depending on what name you'd have reg'd, of course).

Godaddy's tdnam is currently testing sucker levels in the industry right now to measure a hypothesis, how to make money from fools on the Internet.

The hypothesis is that people are low IQ dreamers and fools and will pay you millions for delivering nothing.

If they can show their business model works, hey money is money. If you have a problem, talk to customer service. If you think its a scam, talk to ICANN. Money is money, and you contractually agreed to giving away your money, so legally, you have absolutely nothing to say :-D
