So how exactly did DNforum get 523,669 members? Was it a database transfer or did they actually sign-up?

I assume 99% are actually free members. With that said... wouldn't it make sense to have a regular weekly, biweekly or monthly newsletter emailed to all of these 520K+ members. Obviously it would help traffic, increase sales, increase membership upgrades & liven things up.

Although I can not account for each individual members, no other database has been merged or similar. All users are from the 17 years of operation of this forum.

We will be running a newsletter and it wont take that long before you see the first one.
