The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. It was another big week for the aftermarket with 8 six-figure sales closed including one, Cardiology.com at $550,000, that ranks among the ten biggest sales reported so far this year. The first three sales on our new chart total more than $1.2 million.

Among the Global Contenders, .net led the way with two of the three biggest sales we've seen in that extension in 2007. We also saw a couple of nice .info sales including one at more than $37,000 for a name that had changed hands less than two years ago for just $5,500. On the Country Code chart, .TV grabbed two of the top three positions with a $25,000 sale in that extension leading the way among the ccTLDs. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

Looking ahead a bit, I will be busy covering the Domain Roundtable conference in Seattle at this time next week, so there will not be a sales column next Tuesday night. However you won't miss anything as we will come back the following week with a double-length report to bring you completely up to date. Before heading out to the Pacific Northwest we will publish our August Cover Story - a piece on some major changes taking place in the domain aftermarket that could yield big dividends for domain owners.

Also, for those looking for our July newsletter, our move to a new home and office over the past couple of weeks put us a bit behind schedule but we will catch up by combining July and August into a double-length newsletter that will be published after we return from Domain Roundtable. I'm sure we will pick up some interesting information there to pass along to you in the next newsletter.
