I was looking for someone to code/re-arrange coding and etc on a shopping cart for an upcoming store im doing.
I get this designer and I told him If you have no preview of your work, deposits and etc will not be made until I see your progress on this project that I have..
Sooooo.. I land one guy and this is how the conversation went
Him: Hi, I understand you are looking for someone to do your shopping cart
Me: Yea im still looking at the moment
Him: I can do it, I've been doing it for a while now.
Me: oh good... do you have anything I can look at?
Him: no not at the moment, but im sure I can do the job, im positive for $XXX, with a 50% upfront deposit because I dont work for free
Me: I can't pay you 50% upfront, I haven't seen any of your work
Him: I've been scammed before, I don't work unless I get half upfront
Me: I understand you have been scammed before, but for me to give you money upfront and I havent seen any of your work is crazy
Him: Well I dont work for free. BYE.. signs off (blocks me I think)
