Hello all:

Perhaps I don't get it. I am a Platinum member and I have a portfolio of domains I want to sell.

But, what really is the difference between the Exclusive members' For Sale sub-forum and this one?

I really can't see any difference between the two, as i would imagine that an Exclusive member who's in the market to buy will also look at the Platinum forum, and visa versa.

Some clarification, please?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Exclusive members don't need to put a domain in the title when they post in the exclusive sales subforum. Plus, not much action in that forum so their sale list stays on the first page longer.

Not much action in Platinum or Exclusive?

Sorry to be dense.

This is a very solid portfolio, though, so I anticipate it'll get looked at regardless.

Is it worth upgrading to Exclusive? I'm not whinging about the cost, it's just that I'm not here that often.

Sorry, I meant relatively speaking there is far fewer posts in the exclusive sales section than in the platinum sales section.

As for if it is worth it or not - that's up to you. There are some other benefits, some tools that exclusive members offer to other exclusive members only, a chat forum for exclusive members only (that can only be seen by logged in exclusive members), a sales forum that only exclusive members can post, view, and reply in.

cool! I'll go ahead and spring for Exclusive... I've been meaning to do it for a while, and for 30 years' subscription, a fair price... even though I'll be drooling in my soup in 30 years!

Thing is, I don't use PayPal here in Spain because it is a huge hassle how the banks treat PP. So, as you are a moderator, is there anyone around who can take my CC details and sign me up?

Thanks again.

Steve

Paypal is pretty common but there is also Escrow.com and Escrowdns.com - but both of those have higher fees.

There is also direct wire transfer.

I would not recommend giving someone else your CC# - that opens you up to huge risks (and the person who opens the account up for you).

Yeah, I remembered I have a PP account that I never use, and just tried to run the membership pmt through there. As expected, I got a message translated: Come down to the bank to approve the transaction. This is why PP is such a hassle here.

Anyway, I've submitted a support ticket.

Adam... you really should consider setting up a payment gateway for us CC users who can't use PP.

Thanks.

Steve

Hey Draggar:

Unfortunately, the only option on the upgrade screen is PayPal. So, I'll have to wait until someone from DNF gets in touch.

I can always migrate my post over to Exclusive when I sort membership out, ¿no?
