I am selling eight of our small sites because I don't have time for them since I am focusing on our larger projects. These sites could all generate more revenue if they got any attention whatsoever.

The first four sites sold at BIN - the first, third and fourth in just one hour and the second in one day (with several backup BIN offers). We've now decided to sell our last 4 sites together as quickly as we can put them up. This is perhaps our best site, one our two PR6 sites.

URL: http://www.aboutbratz.com

Age of site (months): 4

Monthly revenue:
$295

$145 per month average ($93 to $185) from AdSense

$150 from 2 links sold.

Revenue from AdSense:
Feb 2005 $93.71
Mar 2005 $129.94
Apr 2005 $120.26
May 2005 $185.97

Revenue and traffic confirmation available through PM.

Avg. monthly pageviews: 56,844

Monthly traffic: 5105 to 8726 unique visitors

Unique Visitors:
Feb 2005 6106
Mar 2005 5105
Apr 2005 7125
May 2005 8726

Page Views:
Feb 2005 64222
Mar 2005 41797
Apr 2005 55284
May 2005 66075

Traffic details:
Most traffic comes from bookmarks, etc. MSN, and Yahoo, with some coming from Google, Ask Jeeves and Search.com.

Number 5 on Yahoo and Number 8 on MSN for "bratz"

Number 1 on MSN and Number 9 on Yahoo for "bratz coloring pages"

Number 1 on MSN and Number 9 on Yahoo for "bratz games"

Number 7 on MSN and Number 10 on Yahoo for "bratz dolls"

Many, many others.

Google PageRank: PR 6

Description:
This site has an excellent URL, all original content, great keyword placement on MSN and Yahoo (including for the keyword 'Bratz,' is well optimized for the search engines, and requires no work.

Revenue can easily be increased -- for example, we don't sell anything related to Bratz on the site! (We did just add three site-wide Amazon links at the bottom of each page of the site so you could see how easy it would be.) You could quickly add affiliate links, Amazon links, and sell advertising to increase revenue. I just don't have the time.

You will get:
- the domain (transferred on GoDaddy or WildWestDomains)
- exclusive rights to all content on the site

The final bidder will pay through Paypal where I'm verified. Escrow fine if buyer pays fees.

Content:
20 pages of 100% original content.

Costs:
None other than domain name renewal and hosting, which are very inexpensive. (You will need to host elsewhere.)

I have done no advertising for the site. All traffic has been free via search engines and links.

Indexed Pages (Google): 20

Indexed Pages (Yahoo): 19

Starting Price: $1000

Is an auction? Yes

Buy Now Price: $5200

Auction ends: I believe this is priced for fairly quick sale. Wednesday June 8th 9pm EST or at an earlier time if I end the auction

This is also being listed at another forum.

The title of your post says it makes $295 per month, but the numbers you posted suggest the highest month paid slightly over $185. Can you explain? What are the other sites that you will be selling?

Sure. I took the average AdSense revenue, which is $145 per month over several months, and added it to the revenue of $150 per month for two links sold. The total is $295. (If you look at just May AdSense of $185 and add that to $150, you'd get $335.)

Make sense?

After answering a number of PMs on what to do to increase the revenue for my sites, I realized how easy it would be to hire someone to do these things. So, I'm definitely reserving the right not to sell at below my BIN price -- and perhaps to end the auctions early.

Highest new bid: $3425

2 questions:

1. do you have to update news on the front page manually or using any script to do it?
2. what do you mean by "2 links sold"? is it link ad? is it monthly payment? if yes, will these customers continue paying in the future?

1. Do you mean the Amazon links? At the moment they are hardwired. You could use the Amazon affiliate code to do this -- I'm sure there are scripts for it -- I'm not a techie.

2. This is a monthly payment by a company who bought the two links. Yes, they are small links at the very bottom of the page.

You can never predict how long a company will continue to buy links. However, I have talked with the company, and they want to continue with two links and work with the new domain owner. The terms are quite simple -- you keep 2 links somewhere on each page of the site. They do have an agreement which is straightforward. They are a pleasure to work with and pay promptly via PayPal.

They are continuing their contracts with the other sites I've sold so far.

Let me know either via PM or on the board if you'd like to bid or if you have any other questions. Thanks.
