I can imagine I am not the first one to discover this, but can't find and answer or solution.

I use adsense on all my sites, and revenue is decent, but I think it should be more of course.

I also like to help support fellow webmasters. If I am on a site of interest, and I like the adsense results, I may click on one.

This leads me to a problem I have noticed before, and never put 2 and 2 together.

When I click on adsense ads, nothing happens. I dont know if its XP or Internet Explorer, but I have to hold down the "ctrl" and "shift" keys in order to get the advertisers page to come up.

Now I wonder, how many times does this happen when people click on my ads??! I imagine since the page doesnt load, I dont get paid?

Anybody know what to do about this?

-clear your cookies
-try on a different PC (or sent me your site name and I will try)
-check the HTML code, might be formatted incorrectly...
-check your mouse ;)
-contact google (?)

if the steps above won't help....move to AdBrite ;)

this is not just any particular site. this is any site i visit with adsense on it. i am sure it must be my browser settings? point being, how many non website savvy people are there out there that try to clcik on an adsense ad, but dont get a result? this could be huge revenue increases for everyone if there would be a way to prevent this.

does anyone know of a way to have adsense go right to the advertisers page, opposed to opening it in a new window?

POp-up blockers work like that. Some of them. HK does.. Google Does, I think. My google bar is showing 3 blocked ones now. IE has a blocker too.
