I have a great product idea that could really sell within the right company. However, I have no knowledge of how to approach companies with the idea.

I have searched through thousands of patents, and the idea doesn't show up on any patent.

Does anyone have any experience of selling product ideas? I can't find any creditable companies that will sell my idea for me.

It's a lot easier to sell a product then an idea. You might be better off hiring an engineering firm to build the product and market the product with a business plan. Ideas alone are overrated and not good bargaining chips. You have to bring something tangible to the table. Here's a resource that may be of great use to you. ideaconnection.com

Best of luck
