So I challenged myself to read the entire 75 page / 3734 member list of @The Originals (and I won my own challenge :) ) There are lots of good people there. I have met numerous in person and can remember specific domain deals with a lot of them. Oh the nostalgic feeling!

3700+ users. Crazy!

Well, thank you. But there was a DNFORUM before that. It was founded by some kid who took $50 from us for advertising and then never ran it. In the meantime, he sold the forum to someone else. I can't remember their names, but it had to be back around 2000-2001 or so.

No biggie, just a note out of domain history.

At one time this forum had the dnf.com domain name too.

Edit: autocorrect changed dnf to dang.

Hi @DropWizard.com, is there a chance you remember the $50 promise idea? If it isn't too complicated, maybe we could try replicating it and finding an alternative solution (if doable and makes sense, of course) :)

I think it is in the hands of some Chinese or Korean domain investor (if my memory doesn't fail me). Some 2 years ago he offered me it for $ 200k or 250k :)

Thanks but I'm long past that part of the business and enjoying retirement.
