In a nutshell - you're scr*wed as far as the name is concerned. There is no justice in this world.

Yeah you're going to lose it, but write to them and offer to transfer the name for your out of pocket costs to reg it. If they play tough sons on a bench, then string em out till they have a panel selected. Then give em the name.

I'd like to see AOHell lose a few more bucks. Of course they'd probably raise my fees to pay for it.

aol is in business for years, they can't spend $10 to protect a domain name that they don't want others to use.

i wonder if bill gates is my boy friend, what he is going to do with aol.

crazy world, i better visit a bar tonight.

If the domain is amerionline.com, I don't see why AOL should have a guaranteed win. There are 717 pages of amerion in google and amerion.com and .net are reg'd - are these AOL as well?

DomainPairs, it all boils down to how the domain is being used. Like i mentioned in a similar thread, Joe had the following text on his website:

Amerionline.com - Welcome to free ISP future home!

This is clearly evidence of bad faith because he is providing the same exact service that America Online is [that of an ISP], from a domain that is confusingly similar to their name. Clearly bad faith.

Sorry Dragon - I didn't look at the site. I assumed that nobody would be that obvious.

im sure Mr. Berryhill has better things to do than comment on pointless threads like this one. Do your comments make any sense in Chinese, or are they insane in both your native language and ours?

amerionline has nothing to do with americaonline.

if i lose the name, it's a shame of the law.
