I really feel bad for the people in Florida.

There is another hurricane heading their way. It is called Ivan.
And, at this moment, it is a category 5 (the worst).

They haven't even gotten back to normal from the last two hurricanes
that hit over the past couple weeks. And, now a potential category 5!!!

I hope it steers more to the east to avoid Florida. But, that is unlikely.

What a mess!!

Apparantly it's flattened around 85% of Grenada and is on its way to Jamaica gathering power as it goes - a lot of others are suffering as a result of this natural disaster. Let's hope Florida is missed but let's also remember people in other lands who are traumatised by the consequences of disasters, natural or man-made.

Ya... heard about this last week..... had no idea it was a category 5 tho... it must have been upgraded.

Feel sorry for you guys!

This one looks even more dangerous than the last two. I stuck around through Charley and Frances because I am in one of the safer parts of Tampa - but this one is making me nervous. If it makes landfall anywhere at Cat 5 it is going to devastate everything in site. Things like electricity and water could be gone for weeks.

Dont be pushing your luck Duke..
If this one looks like it is even going to be close then take the wife ona vacationand get out before the mass exit again.. you need a vacation anyways..right ;)

I heard about it too. Its cat 5 at the moment, but it is expected to be around Cat 3-4 by the time it is well into Florida. Its not even certain what path it will take. Let's wait and see...

if it does hit, i hope it doesnt cause much damage, remember to stay safe all

Every resident of the Keys has been ordered to evacuate and there is only one highway out!!

As dazed survivors emerged from half-destroyed homes in Grenada - where at least 13 people were killed and 90 per cent of the 100,000 islanders' homes were damaged - Jamaican leader P. J. Patterson urged his people to pray.

"We have to prepare for the worst-case scenario. Let us pray for God's care," Patterson said Wednesday night. "This is a time that we must demonstrate that we are indeed our brothers' and sisters' keeper."

I hope it doesn't hit us down here in Ft. Laud. I already did an evacuation drill last weekend, not another one! :(

As bad as hurricanes are, I would like to be in one at least once. I think it would be a neat experience. I'd rather see a tornado though.

I hear the goverment is testing their new HAARP device.
They are getting pretty good at this.

Before you personally meet a tornado.

Would you transfer your domains over to me?

If you survive, I will give them back to you. :-D
